- Trail Workday, Eisenhower Park, Sunday, Nov. 12, 2-4 p.m.
- Help us maintain this new and unique trail!. Tasks will involve using wheelbarrows to transport gravel and woodchips to sections of the trail.
- Invasive Removal Workdays:
- Gallup Park “Goat Islands”, Wednesday, Nov. 8, noon-2 p.m.
- Fuller Park, Wednesday, Nov. 15, noon-2 p.m.
- Island Park, Thursday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Veterans Memorial Park, Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2-4 p.m.
- Gallup Park “Goat Islands”, Friday, Nov. 24, noon-2 p.m.
- Fuller Park, Friday, Dec. 1, 3-5 p.m.
- Gallup Park Butterfly Garden, Thursday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Each of these workdays involve cutting back invasive brush, typically buckthorn and honeysuckle. All tools and supplies will be provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather!
