Boys Basketball: Pioneer’s JV team tops Skyline – see WLAA photogallery   

The Pioneer boys’ JV basketball team outscored visiting Skyline 15-6 in the second quarter and never looked back in a comfortable 56-36 win on Monday night.

Pioneer led 12-8 after one quarter and 27-14 at halftime. The Pioneers pushed the lead to 46-25 heading into the final quarter.

Ten players scored for Pioneer in the win. Kai Saito and Amir Lee each had 10 points and Henry Bailey and Amari Jordan-Ellington each had nine points in the win. Brandon Rink and Atticus Tsai each had five points for the home team.

Skyline was led by Jalen Roberts with 10 points, Owen Peterson with seven points and Greg Lee with six points.
