Public invited to Feb. 28 Career Fair at Washtenaw Community College

ANN ARBOR  Job seekers are invited to Washtenaw Community College’s (WCC) Annual Winter Career Fair on Wednesday, February 28.

Approximately 70 employers are expected to attend the fair, with many looking to hire for immediate job opportunities.

The event, which is free and open to the public and students, will run from 4-6 p.m. in the Morris Lawrence Building on the WCC campus, 4800 E. Huron River Drive.

Employers will represent the automotive, advanced manufacturing, banking/mortgage, computer science, education/childcare, engineering, health care, IT, government, manufacturing, welding/fabrication and other sectors. Full-time, part-time and internship positions are open.

WCC will also offer free in-person and virtual opportunities in advance to help students and community members prepare to meet employers. Workshops are:

  • Tuesday, February 20, 3-4 p.m., Liberal Arts Building, Room 119.
  • Thursday, February 22, 10-11 a.m., Liberal Arts Building, Room 119.
  • Monday, February 26, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Liberal Arts Building, Room 130
  • Monday, February 26, 5-6 p.m., Virtual Zoom Meeting
