WCC launching improved Student Gateway

Washtenaw Community College announced that a new and improved Student Gateway will replace its current version on Thursday, June 27. Upon launch, students will find all of the WCC academic tools they need in one user-friendly dashboard.

Best of all, because all tools are located within this centralized location, students will only have to log in once for comprehensive access.

The WCC Office of Information Technology Services soft-launched the product in January and more than 5,000 students have already logged in to the system. Effective June 27, selecting “Student Gateway” from the wccnet.edu homepage drop-down menu will take all students directly to the new and improved release.

Students unfamiliar with the product are encouraged to watch the video overview below. New users will also be walked through a brief tutorial the first time they access the tool.

As the video explains, the improved Student Gateway offers every student a personalized dashboard to check classes, grades and schedules; connect with Academic Advisors and Success Coaches; stay up-to-date on financial aid; and much, much more. Every tool has its own “tile” that can be customized by arranging and adding/deleting tiles in an order that best suits each student’s needs.

If you have questions or need assistance, contact the Student Welcome Center via email at info@wccnet.edu or phone at 734-973-3543.
