The Dexter Community Schools will hold a Board of Education trustee candidate forum at 7 p.m. on Sept. 25, 2024 at the Boardroom at Bates School (2704 Baker Rd. Dexter, MI 48130).
There are three candidates on the ballot for two open six-year terms:
- Mike Cipolla
- Dawn Gilbert
- Amy Reiser
The forum is expected to last 1-1.5 hours. It will be moderated by Board President Elise Bruderly, with the board’s student representatives slated to ask questions.
There are no incumbent candidates. Outgoing trustee Mara Greatorex was elected to a six-year term in 2018; Dick Lundy was first elected 1979 and has been re-elected many times since, most recently in 2022 for a partial term. Both seats expire at the end of 2024.
