Water Polo: Pioneer scores 14-2 win over SEC foe Dexter

The Pioneer water polo team hosted the Dexter Dreadnaughts on Tuesday, Oct. 8. It was another win for the Pioneers.

Seniors Sawyer Thompson had 4 goals and Liam MacNeil had 2. Sawyer also had 4 steals with sophomore Elijah Almeida getting 3 steals. The final score was 14-2 for the Pioneers. The Pioneer JV team won 16-1.

On Thursday, October 10th the Pioneers traveled to Birmingham Seaholm. Pioneer scored 15 to Seaholm’s 7 goals. Top scorers are seniors Mark Flautner and Thompson, 5 and 4 respectively.  Flaunter and Almeida each had 4 steals. JV also won 13-6.

Flautner has scored 104 goals so far this season in 32 games with 47 assists!

Pioneer plays Huron on Thursday at Skyline. Varsity at 6:15 and JV at 7:15.
