Against Dexter, Skyline finished 2 nd in all three relays – the 200 Medley Relay (Owen McKelvey, Henry Strait, Connor Zillich, Robby Shannon), the 200 Free Relay (H Strait, Wesley Jenkins, Evan Pokryfke, Marlowe Hartnett), and the 400 Free Relay (Shannon, Jenkins, Co Zillich, McKelvey).
Against Huron, the Eagles won all three relays – the 200 Medley Relay (McKelvey, H Strait, Co Zillich, Shannon), the 200 Free Relay (McKelvey, Pokryfke, Hartnett, Shannon), and the 400 Free Relay (Co Zillich, Hartnett, Pokryfke, H Strait). In addition, Skyline finished 3 rd in the 200 Free Relay (Aidan Mazza, Stuart Knight, Cas Ruiz, Brody Howe) and the 400 Free Relay (Cayden Zillich, Ruiz, Lincoln Balazer, Burak Aricioglu).
In the victory this past week Skyline took 1 st and 2 nd place in the 200 Medley Relay (Co Zillich, Shannon, McKelvey, Ca Zillich & H Strait, Mazza, Jenkins, Knight), 2 nd and 3 rd place in the 200 Free Relay (Knight, Mazza, McKelvey, Pokryfke & Shannon, Balazer, Co Zillich, Howe), and 3 rd place in the 400 Free Relay (Balazer, Hartnett, Charlie Hazzi, Howe).
While the relays had success in Skyline’s meets, there were many excellent individual performances as well! Huge time drops & personal bests were achieved by Hartnett (100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 200 IM), Hazzi (200 IM, 100 Back), Shannon (200 IM, 100 Breast), H Strait (100 Free, 100 Breast), Aricioglu (100 Free), Balazer (100 Back), Knight (Diving), McKelvey (100 Breast), Lucho Perez (50 Free), Pokryfke (100 Back), Ruiz (50 Free), Darsh Vats (200 Free), Richard Wang (50 Free), and Ca Zillich (100 Breast).
Skyline travels to Saline for a dual meet on Thursday at 6 p.m.
