Dexter High School is welcoming three Olympic athletes to town including one very familiar face. The first Hockey UnTamed Olympic Camp will be May 23 and 24 at Dexter High School!
Main coaches will be Dexter High graduate Abigail Tamer, Paris 2024 Olympian, Team USA Leading Goal-Scorer, 2024 NCAA First-Team All-American, 2024 Big Ten Tournament Champion.
Hockey UnTamed is excited to announce special guest coaches, Maddie Zimmer and Karlie Kisha! Zimmer, also a Paris 2024 Olympian, brings unbelievable collegiate and international experience, and was recently named the 2024 NFHCA Player of the Year, and 2024 Honda Award Winner, along with being a 2-time NCAA National Champion. Kisha is the third Paris 2024 Olympian to join the Hockey UnTamed staff, and brings the most international experience of the three. Kisha is a 2x National Champion, NCAA All-American, former UConn Huskies Captain, and current Villanova University Assistant Coach.
Join the team on 5/24 from 8 am-1:45 pm. We will spend the first 2.5 hours going through skills and drills from our national team and Olympic experience. Athletes will get a 45-minute break, then we will finish with 2.5 hours of scrimmaging with a focus on international level speed and intensity. There will also be an optional add-on event on 5/23 from 6:30-8:30pm, for an additional cost, where we will spend dedicated time working on special skills – 3D, aerials, reverse skills, goalscoring – and small gameplay.
