Swimming: Dexter splits tri-meet with Skyline, Huron

It was a record night inside the pool at Huron High School as one of those records on the big board came splashing down. Skyline senior Michael MacGillivray broke the Huron Pool record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.62 seconds on Thursday night.

Setting the record in the Huron pool is quite an accomplishment considering some of the records on the big board were set by University of Michigan swimmers when they used the pool while their pool was under construction.

The record came during a tri-meet between three very good swimming and diving teams: Skyline, Huron and Dexter in an SEC showdown.
