WCRC Selects Sheryl Soderholm as New Managing Director

The Washtenaw County Board of Road Commissioners is pleased to announce the selection of Sheryl Soderholm Siddall as the next Managing Director of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC).

Sheryl has served as the County Highway Engineer and WCRC Director of Engineering since 2011. In this role, she oversaw countless road improvement projects, advocated for the agency on the state and local level and assisted in the development of the county-wide road and non-motorized millage that was passed overwhelmingly by voters in 2016. She began her career with WCRC in 1997, specializing in traffic and safety engineering before advancing to engineering leadership roles in the subsequent years.

The WCRC Managing Director oversees all operations and activities of the Road Commission, including finance, human resources, community relations/public information, planning, information technology, engineering and operations.

Sheryl earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a past President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Sheryl will transition into her new role in mid-June.
