Ypsilanti – Grove Road Segment – The Grove Road B2B Trail segment is officially open. Trail Partners, Rawsonville Elementary School staff and local families were in attendance to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission. It was a beautiful day to be on the B2B!  In the next year, additional work will be done on the trail along Grove Road to maintain and expand this Ypsilanti trail segment.

Huron River Drive Trail, Dexter Huron Metropark to Zeeb Road – Installation of Bridge #1 is complete, with delivery of Bridge #2 slated for early November.   Boardwalk construction and stone placement on the trail segments is underway.  Paving of the trail will continue throughout October and November.  Trail slope restoration work will occur in the spring of 2020.

Lyndon Township Trailhead – The contractor has completed the rough site grading for the parking lot and the grading for the universal hiking trail. Placement of the limestone base is anticipated in the next few weeks.

M-52 Chelsea-Stockbridge Trail, Green Lake to North Territorial Road – All of the tree stumps in the pathway have been removed and nearly 5 miles of silt fence has been installed.  Grading of the path is underway, while construction of retaining walls will begin in November.

Riverside Park, City of Ann Arbor – The reconstruction of one-half mile of trail between Broadway Bridge and Maiden Lane is 90% complete. The restoration work should be completed this fall.
