From Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative: B2B Trail Construction Updates (video)

Huron River Drive Trail, Dexter Huron HCMA Park to Zeeb Road – Bridge 2 was set in place in October, while delivery of Bridge 3 is anticipated in late November, with placement planned for mid-December. The asphalt paving of the trail is now complete. The concrete paving, between the two bridges on the oxbow is 95 percent complete. The work on the remaining boardwalks continues this winter, while trail restoration work will occur in the spring of 2020.

Lyndon Township Trailhead – The contractor has completed the grading for the Trailhead and the universal hiking trail. The limestone base material for the parking lot has been delivered.

M-52 Chelsea-Stockbridge Trail, Green Lake to North Territorial Road – Work on path grading and earthwork balancing has started. The contractor anticipates placing the limestone stone base in mid-November. Work on some of the retaining walls will occur in early December.

M-52 Trail, Tunnel Project – Construction of the tunnel is scheduled for the spring of 2020, due the production time needed to fabricate the concrete tunnel sections.
