The Dexter Middle School competitive cheer team finished first in the four-team Middle School event on Thursday at Dexter High School.
Dexter scored a total of 361.74 points to just beat out Chelsea (second, 357.5). Pinckney was third (339) and Lincoln fourth (85.44).
