Golf: Dexter wins first two matches of SEC season

After their impressive showing at the Detroit Golf Club, the Dexter golf team kicked off its SEC season at Polo Field CC on Wednesday.  On a cold and windy day, Dexter continued to play well and did enough to defeat Jackson and Bedford.

Dexter carded a team score of 168 to finish first.  Jackson was second with a 184 and Bedford shot 198.

The Dexter team posted consistent scoring.  Senior Jack Kolka had the low round of the matches with a 39. Niko Mikos fired a 42, Dom Sorters shot a 43, Joey Fracassi carded a 44, Gauge Pulford fired a 46 and Lucas Koone finished with a 49.
