Girls Basketball: Dexter dominates Lincoln from start to finish

The Dexter girls’ basketball team bounced back from a tough non-league loss to Westfield Prep earlier in the week with a dominating win on Friday night. Dexter outscored Lincoln 15-1 in the opening quarter and cruised to a 55-6 win in an SEC contest.

Dexter led 34-3 at halftime.

Chloe Perry was 8 of 17 shooting from the floor to lead Dexter with 18 points. Sydney Pnacek made 5 of her 11 shots and finished with 10 points along with five rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Brianna Rodriguez and Alena Blumberg (nine rebounds, four steals and three blocks) each scored eight points.

Alyssa Gullekson had four points and Maddi Valentine had three points.

Dexter hosts Saline on Tuesday.
