Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival Workshops
Youth Workshops
The Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival will host the Children’s Painting Workshops on Wednesday, August 17th. The sessions are separated by age bracket and include: elementary school age, middle school age, and high school age and above.

Cost to participate is $10 per child/young adult.
Adult Workshop
We are very excited to offer an adult workshop taught by nationally known, award-winning artist Ken DeWaard. Ken will also be serving as our Awarding Judge for the Plein Air and Quick Draw Competitions. His two-day workshop will be held on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday, August 14th.
Mediums: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel

Dexter Community Garden
The Dexter Community Garden located on Dan Hoey Road still has a few remaining plots available. If you are interested in having your own plot in the garden, fill out the Community Garden Form and send it to Olga Austin at austin.olga@gmail.com.

The purpose of the public hearings are to: 1) receive comments regarding the FY 2022-23 Water/Sewer Rates and 2) receive comments regarding the FY 2022-23 Millage Rate and Budget. Written comments may also be forwarded to jbreyer@dextermi.gov no later than 5:00pm on Monday, June 13, 2022.

The Dexter Zoning Board of Appeals will hold the following Public Hearing on June 20, 2022 at 7:00PM at 3515 Broad Street:
The applicant is requesting the following variance for property located at 7580 Third Street (08-08-05-260-001):
- A 3.7 foot variance from the 15-foot front yard setback requirements in Section 20.01 of the City of Dexter Zoning Ordinance to allow construction of an enclosed structure.
