What’s Happening: Dexter’s Farmer’s Market, Plant Sale Saturday, May 20

The Dexter’s Farmer’s Market is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 20. The Dexter Garden Club Plant Sale 2023 at The Gazebo is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

JW Cards Plus – Greeting Cards, Bookmarks, Notebooks, Small Giftables, Framed beach art
Mary Ann’s – Honey, eggs, dessert breads, jewelry, knitted socks, kitchen towels, produce
Wonderful Tiny Farms – bouquets of tulips, eggs, seasonal produce, freeze-dry dog treats, microgreens, jelly
Sweetland Farms – Freezer Meat
Noka Homestead – Bok choy, salad mix, radishes, heirloom dry beans, spinach (limited), cabbage & kale & broccoli seedlings, tomato seedlings
Two Dogs Farms – Produce, Syrup, Jelly
Nice or Naughty Baked Goods – Gluten free baked cookies, muffins, cupcakes
Seva Farms – Seasonal Produce, romaine lettuce, salad greens, bok choy, tulips

Local long-time resident musician Marsha Gayle Mumm is volunteering to lead the kids in a group Sing-alongs at the mrket! Generations Singing Together makes for a fun family activity. Bring Grandma/Grandpa, the kids, grandkids…out to learn and enjoy many traditional American Favorite Songs such as:
You Are My Sunshine, Take Me out to the Ballgame, My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean and more. Be sure to wear some dancing shoes to strut through The Hokey Pokey, & other Movement Favorites. The weather looks great! Stop by the market and join in!
