Showcase of Homes Event Features 9 Homes Open June 22-23

ANN ARBOR – Summer home improvement and home-buying season is upon us, with the Greater Ann Arbor area’s annual Showcase of New & Remodeled Homes event happening June 22 & 23, 2024. The tour can help people find a newly constructed home, or builder or remodeler. It’s also a unique chance to learn about design solutions and trends and inspire more modest home improvements, or simply take in some architecture and visit a variety of neighborhoods and home styles.

Highlights include:

• Home #6 – A bold, modern whole home transformation updated for three generations to live together. It went from a 3 bedroom ranch to a 6 bedroom 2-story home at 1410 S. Zeeb Rd, Ann Arbor.

2 ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units) within a mile of each other in Ann Arbor. Home #7 is an angular additional living space with radiant heat floor & energy efficient building. Home #8 features a screened porch addition and large loft space with a custom golf simulator, kitchenette, and half- bath.

Home #9 is a remodeled English Cottage style large lower level living area and wellness space, featuring a sauna, gym, bar and kitchen, entertainment space, wine room, and kids’ bedrooms.

Five new construction models, Homes #1 – #5.
#1- The grand opening of Heritage Farms in Chelsea (starting at $395,000)
#2 – New development with Chestnut Village in Whitmore Lake (from $449,000)
#3 – Bristol Ridge Townhomes in Ann Arbor (mid $500s – high $500s)
#4 – Fosdick Glen in Saline (high $400s – low $700s)
#5 – Andelina Farms (Priced from $322,900)

The homes are located in Ann Arbor, Saline, Chelsea, and Northfield Township near Whitmore Lake.
Open 11 to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, with a $10 admission fee valid for all homes. Ages 16 & under are free. Tickets are valid for all homes on both days. Proceeds go to BRAG Ann Arbor, providing building industry education & more resources to the local business community and public.

Visitors can tour the homes in any order, and will be given the event magazine with local home improvement resources upon arrival.

The Showcase of Homes provides an opportunity to talk to designers and builders who can help with their remodel, addition, or high-performance custom home, as well as explore and compare models and options and neighborhoods. Previews of all 9 homes can be found at www.ShowcaseofHomes.net.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the BRAG Ann Arbor Event Center at 179 Little Lake Drive, Ann Arbor (M-F) or online (additional fees apply). Tickets will also be sold at all homes, cash or check only.

The 2024 Showcase of Homes is presented by the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor (BRAG Ann Arbor) and the Home Builders Association of Livingston County (HBALC).  Sponsored by Absolute Title, DTE Energy, and the University of Michigan Credit Union.
