AAPS Video: The Leslie Science & Nature Center visits AAPS’ Summer Learning Institute

The Leslie Science & Nature Center brought nature to life Monday at the AAPS Summer Learning Institute. Students got to see a live hawk up close and learn about these birds of prey. Staff also shared fascinating facts about trees and their importance in our ecosystem during a “Build a Tree” exercise where kids acted out the different parts of the tree to understand better how they’re all connected. What a fun way to connect young learners with the natural world

AAWe appreciate all of our community partners who enrich our students’ lives. Thank you!
