Bill Oakley is a food personality and influencer who appears regularly on “The Food That Built America” (History Channel) and has appeared in numerous other outlets and venues to talk about his favorite subject: American food. He makes funny Instagram food videos (@thatbilloakley) which have earned him the monicker “The Gordon Ramsay of Fast Food.” However, he is best known as the former show-runner, co-executive producer and head writer of “The Simpsons,” where he wrote the much-memed “Steamed Hams” segment. He has also written and produced “Futurama,” “Disenchantment,” “Portlandia” and “Mission Hill” and has earned three Emmys and a Peabody Award for his work. In 2022, he founded “The Steamed Hams Society” which is now a thriving worldwide online community for food discussion and discovery.
