Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra (YSO) presents its popular annual Holiday Concert Dec. 15

YPSILANTI – Music Director Adam C. Riccinto and the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra (YSO) will present its popular annual Holiday Concert at the Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 15 at 3:30 p.m. The family-friendly “Holiday Extravaganza” concert will include the world premiere of composer Brooke Pierson’s Symphony #3 for Orchestra, a collaboration with special guests the Washtenaw International High School Orchestra conducted by Maestro Pierson, and of course a festive selection of familiar holiday favorites, including tunes by Leroy Anderson, the Suite from the Polar Express, and much more.

“The YSO can’t wait to celebrate the holiday season with our audience and musical guests,” said Music Director Adam C. Riccinto. “This concert offers the unique opportunity to hear the world premiere of the fantastic Symphony #3 by renowned composer Brooke Pierson. We are also excited to welcome the talented Washtenaw International High School Orchestra and share seasonal tunes to get you ready for the holidays. Come join the celebration!”

The orchestra will also hold its second annual Holiday Silent Auction featuring a variety a goods and services from local businesses during the concert, just in time for holiday shopping.
