Around Town: Halloween “hours;” Dexter’s Farmer’s Market; Public Hearings

The recommended Trick-or-Treat hours in the City are from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021. The Dexter Chamber of Commerce and local businesses will be sponsoring a Trick-or-Treat opportunity in Monument Park on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Mill Creek Park Volunteer Day – October 24th

Have a green thumb? A workday in Mill Creek Park will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Volunteers are welcome to come get their hands dirty as we work to plant new shrubs and plugs in various areas of Mill Creek Park. Meet at the stairs near the Dexter Farmers Market. Volunteers are not required to stay the entire time. Come and join as your time allows!

Dexter Farmers Market – Dress Up Your Dog Contest

The final day of the season for the Dexter Farmers Market is Saturday, October 30, 2021. The Market will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm at 3233 Alpine St. The annual Dress Up Your Dog for Halloween contest will start at 11:45am on October 30th.

Public Hearing #2 is an opportunity for the public to comment on an application for amendment to the Encore Musical Theatre Company Conditional Rezoning Agreement, for property located at 7714 Ann Arbor St..
