Competitive Cheer: Dreadnaughts win Splitter Invitational at Lincoln

The Dexter competitive cheer team hit the road on Saturday and returned with some impressive hardware. The Dreadnaughts finished first at the Splitter Invitational at Lincoln High School.

Dexter won the Division 2 trophy but actually ended up with the top score of any team during the day. The Dreadnaughts finished with a tournament best 675.04 points. They scored 205.20 in round one, 190.84 in round two and 279 in round three.

Westland John Glenn won the Division 1 side with 635.14 points with Lincoln second (625.74) and Monroe third (598.86).

Dexter heads to a competitive Melvindale Invitational on Saturday.
