EFD Approved $48K in Educational Grants to DCS

From the EFD Board of Trustees:

EFD is thankful for the support that we have received this year. It has allowed us to fund $48,755.20 of educational grants for the 2022-23 school year. The 27 grants approved benefit students in all DCS buildings. This would not be possible without your generous support!

Gifts to EFD will continue to make a difference for students this school year in the spring grant cycle.

EFD grew out of a community desire to maintain and enhance educational opportunities within Dexter Community Schools and has continued to grow for the last 37 years. Dexter teachers and administrators have come to rely on EFD as an outside source to help fund teacher grants and district initiatives that otherwise may not be possible.

This GivingTuesday, make a difference for Dexter students by giving to EFD. Your gift allows us to continue to fund educational grants that impact students in all DCS buildings from PreK – 12. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s giving some of your time or making a donation.
